Ours is a turbo charged work environment where passion runs high. We are an equal opportunity workplace and summarily apolitical. Here roles are offered with no cap on one’s ability to own responsibilities and demonstrate leadership capability. Candidates should be ready to travel and may be required to stay at project locations for a short duration

Gannat – Bengal Crafts At Global Fest

The International Folklore Festival of Gannat has been celebrating the folk culture of the world — ‘Les Cultures du Monde’ — for 43 years now. The 10-day festival of Gannat is organized by the Association Nationale Cultures et Tradition (ANCT), which is led by Jean Roche, the founder of the Festival of Gannat and a permanent representative of the International Council for Folklore Festivals in the UNESCO.

The festival showcases folk cultures from all over the world and includes dance, music, cuisine, art, masks and sculptures. As part of the Rural Craft Hubs project of Bengal (a joint initiative of the Department of MSME&T, Government of West Bengal, and UNESCO, New Delhi), banglanatak dot com facilitated the participation of folk artists at the International Folklore Festival of Gannat for two consecutive years. Art forms of Bengal — like Clay Doll, Wooden Doll, Patachitra, Putul Naach, Chau, Baul, Dokra, Terracotta and Sitalpati — were showcased at the festival.
